AER 666... Bus' Plate Number - Singapore

The bus I was travelling on, broke down at Senai toll the night before Christmas Eve. Thankfuly, it was only a minor problem which was resolved swiftly. :)

I couldn't help but notice that Singaporeans are, in general, more fashionable compared to Malaysians. The fact that I still wear bermudas and t-shirt with sandals or flip flops when I go to a buffet at One Utama with my family is the most obvious prove of this. I guess Malaysians, including myself have a lot to learn from our neighbours...

Silvertop - Blacktop

I was hit with an unforseen event which has left me no choice but to transplant a Blacktop into my car. My
Silvertop died and just couldn't crank up. The mechanic had tried to slab on another Silvertop engine head into my engine but no luck (or so I was told since I was at work). I can't be sure of the root cause but I found screws on the crank pulley to be broken. I got the set of adjustable cam pulleys from Trial Tuning Spirit

Joe wasn't quite as helpful as I'd hoped he'd be anyway. I was left on my own to pay for the expenses to resolve the problem.

However, I must say that I have no regrets at all. For the first time from whence I got the car, I'm actually quite content with the new engine as it sounds healthier and the difference in torque and horsepower is much more evident compared to my previous engine. Stronger, Wilder, More Aggresive and a Wider Power Band... It's hard not to love it.

Refreshed...

Good to go and ready for work... I got a new computer over the weekend and I'm happy with it. It took me only about 20 minutes to install and boot up to a working Windows XP. Splendid!

Now, I really miss my computer *nerd* I found myself a new toy! *nerd* I want to sit in front of it everyday! *nerd* I should have brought it here with me to penang! *nerd*

A very long holiday indeed, I feel refreshed and ready for work! Or not... but hey, life's like that, live it to the fullest and stop whining then you will enjoy it *spoken by a true happy-go-lucky-guy spastic wannabe*...

The White Beast is Home...

The white beast is home!

No idling issues, better response, no engine oil leaking, power windows repaired, cooler air-conditioning... Half my car issues resolved =)

I had to send it off to Joe, some guy whom my dad introduced to me. Apparently Joe had worked on several of my dad's friend's vintage/sports cars and was highly recommended. My brother had also previously sent off his Cynos turbo with the combined 5EFHE/4EFTE engine to Joe to do some repairs.

He managed to change off the power windows for me, add an Emanage to the car, tune my adjustable cam pulleys and did some cleaning in the aircond cooling coils.

Forced Induction..

True thoughts about forced induction? Absolutely respect the sheer horsepower of forced induction. It is a force not to be meddled with, not to be underestimated. Its boost at the operating rev gives you that very edge. You get an adrenaline rush everytime the turbo kicks in and you will absolutely love the acoustic rotation of the turbo fins decelerating as you lift your foot off the pedal.

At the clinic...

I was at the clinic earlier and the doctor prescribed me 5 different coloured pills for my fever - black, yellow, green, white, and orange. This reminded me of The Matrix but at a greater and more exaggerated level where I have all the coloured pills to take me to the Ethereal plane and back like 5 times over.. o_O

And I didn't get to play basketball today... damnit
